The hits just keep on coming for second-year pro Ivan Melendez whose first-inning home run helped Hillsboro to a 5-0 win in their series opener with Tri-City on Tuesday night, May 23, at Ron Tonkin Field in Hillsboro.

Timing is everything, and despite recording nearly twice as many hits than the home Emeralds, the Hops dropped the opener of their six-game set with Eugene 5-2 on Tuesday, May 16, at PK Park in Eugene.
