Evanson: The LIV "problem" isn't going away, and it's complex

Famed pro golfer Phil Mickelson, one of the most high-profile players to defect from the PGA to the Saudi Arabia-bankrolled LIV Golf Tour, walks to the 10th-hole tee during the tourney. Michael Block has become a household name. And while the 46-year-old California golf club professional is basking in the glory of his 15th place finish at last weekend’s PGA Championship, I’m just enjoying the gift that only the game of golf can give us.

This can’t happen in the NFL, Major League Baseball, the NBA or really any other mainstream college or professional sport.
