Jeanna Frazzini, executive director of Basic Rights Oregon, will talk about gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender issues facing local residents at a Tuesday, Aug. 3, meeting of the Beaverton Human Rights Advisory Commission.
The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. in the Beaverton City Library, 12375 S.W. Fifth St.
Frazzini’s presentation also will discuss health care access, youth concerns and racial justice issues and will provide an update on Basic Rights Oregon’s efforts to advance freedom to marry rights.
“Basic Rights Oregon has made substantial contributions to our city and state. We look forward to learning more about Basic Rights Oregon’s successes and how our citizens can support their continuing efforts” said Rob Solomon, chairman of the Beaverton advisory commission.
