TIGARD – Matthew McGrath of Tigard has graduated cum laude from Seattle Pacific University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, international business emphasis.
SEATTLE – Kelly A. Machan earned a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, magna cum laude, from Seattle Pacific University on June 13. Graduation was preceded by a recognition ceremony and awarding of the doctoral hood.
After a competitive application process and as part of her five-year doctoral program, Machan was chosen for a yearlong internship at Student Counseling Services at Kansas State University. She has been accepted for a post-doctoral fellowship at Sound Mental Health, beginning in the fall.
A graduate of Jesuit High School, she is the daughter of Mary Ann and George Machan of Tigard.
EUGENE – Ashley Lund, who has completed her second year at the University of Oregon and named to the winter dean’s list, has been accepted to study abroad this summer at the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark.
Upon completion of her studies she will join a group with other college students to tour Ireland before returning home.
She has also been accepted to the University of Oregon Honors Business Program, which will begin in the fall this year.
Her parents are Jeff and Sharon Lund of Sherwood.
